Easy Shop is an online store based on Magento framework. This is an intuitive and easy-to-use platform that offers a pleasant user experience and allows users to search products using different filters and search options. A user can add a product to cart and wishlist, compile reviews and tags for products, buy products or Gift Card with or without registration using different ways of payment.


As the application possess the multi-level architecture and logic, various testing types needed to be completed. We had to make big attention to personal data protection since the application has different roles and access right. We also had to check the interruption work of the system within the load pressure and during the payment system integration.


To cover all the client requirements, we used both manual and automated testing methods, including regression, compatibility, GUI, and integration testing types. The team included one team lead, two quality assurance engineers, project manager, and the client representative. We checked all the online store level, making a huge attention to the data and personal info protection.

To ensure the accurate error gathering process, we were preparing daily bug reports and were using Skype as the most convenient communication channel. We also cooperated closely with the development team to make the process even more thoroughly.



Using the most suitable testing types for the multi-level application architecture we were able to check how properly Easy Shop works under the high-loads. We collected all bugs, errors, and system failure, and provided the client with all necessary test documentation, as well as gave useful recommendations for the site improvements and optimization.
