The client was in the middle of developing an innovative web clinic management system. Since it was a very complex piece of software with a considerable number of roles (including patients) and rich functionality for efficient management and analytics, the client requested TestFort to provide them with an entire dedicated team of expert quality assurance engineers to help them avoid accumulating tech debt and make certain the project didn’t face any critical bugs or blockers.
We began our work by studying the requirements for the project. The documentation provided by the client was incomplete and most of the functionality was unclear, so we had to gather all the necessary information through constant communication with the development team. After we had all the answers and the client provided us with the designs of their software solution, we had enough data to assemble a best-fitted dedicated QA team for the job.
The client gave us the green light to structure and organize the work ourselves, so we took a very proactive approach. We helped the client optimize their development workflows by introducing them to our own working patterns and developing a detailed reporting process for our daily and monthly work.
Through automated and manual means, we conducted thorough regression, exploratory, and UI testing of the main web clinic system as well as of the separate portals for patients and employees. In addition to eliminating bugs and blockers, we tested the system for logical inconsistencies and offered the client all sorts of functional improvements to the system.
